Argument?

Not feeling good today. Real sad to tell the truth. Had a minor tiff with my husband that escalated to a full blown out fight and now I feel sad, stupid and angry that we let it go as far as we did. It started out as silly exchange of words..................to a full blown out "pack your bags and be gone by the time I get home" kinda fight. I haven't spoken a single solitary word to him since yesterday afternoon. We even went to bed angry which we've never done before


Just needed to vent I guess. Thanks.

I'm sorry. it stinks when that happens especially when you know it was uneccessary for it to escalate that far. Maybe you can send him an email or text message at work. Short and Sweet. "I'm sorry. Things gt out of hand. let's talk tonight."

I can sympathize....I had one over the weekend....induced by alcohol and my crazy fears.

It will pass, just apologize and talk about why it happened, so it does not escalate to that point again.

I agree, it will pass and like Marymoon said, its best to keep it short and simple and as much as it kills you, be the first one to pick up the phone. Its so not worth the added agony to play the waiting game. Talk it over and before you know it, you'll be back to good. Remember why you fell in love in the first place

I do love him and I know that he loves me. I took your advice girls and did send him an email and it was short, sweet and to the point that we need to talk. I wish I could cry and get it over with.

Thank you! You are right........I'm going to try and move on and not let this spoil another day. Missing out on the rest of yesterday was more than enough..................I'll try real hard to make it a better day. Thanks again.

Has he responded to the e-mail yet?

DH and I had an argument last night too. Over something so silly. Something was said that was misunderstood by both of us. We went to bed angry as well but this morning we made up. Noone said sorry, we sometimes have a way of saying sorry without speaking the words, like we'll hug, or this morning DH was making funny faces and we just laughed.

I hope you guys make up. Life is too short to be wasted on being angry at one another.

No he hasn't answered my email, but I also know he's not home right now....but as we speak the phone is ringing and it is him.

We both agreed we were stupid! Both apologized for being stupid!
Both sorry we went to bed angry and tonight we are going to sit down and talk. He said "I love you!" "Okay babe.......... now I gotta go.....gotta call the pediatrician."

thank you for letting me vent.........and share.......i just hate fighting and hate feeling sad.
