Question??
I got married February 19th 2006 and we were pregnant 6 months later. So many people have comments that are just annoying me... Like WHY SO SOON?? WAS IT PLANNED?? IM SORRY ARE YOU HAPPY??...
Those are just a few... I am just soo sick of hearing this... sorry I just had someone I went to high School with just say it to me online.... Does this happen to anyone else???

Ummm....we were married in October - now we're pregnant...It's the first thing out of 1/2 the people's mouths. "Wow, that was fast!"
I HATE it - so tacky...When did it become mandatory to wait a year or more to get pregnant?!?!!? And why do people feel it necessary to voice their opinion!?!?!?

we got pregnant 3 months after our wedding and yes while a lot of people were happy for us, their were the idiots who made commetns. Most of them didnt know that we thought we were going to have issues getting preggos. Know that i am 4 months, no one says anything about it, everyone is now talking about my weight and if we are finding out the sex LOL, people will stop soon, just ignore them, obviously this is what you and your DH choose so its none of their business

I get those kind of comments all the time, and we were married for a year before we found out I waspregnant with my daughter. I even had a stranger say somehing in the store to me about how irresponsible it is that I have a baby andI'm pregnant again already. When I told her I was married, she proceeded to imply hatI only gt married b/c of my daughter, which obviosly wasnt the case. I told her if she was too stupid to do easy math in her head, she should mind her busness.

We have been married 4 years, so we didn't get the "so soon" comment, but we DID get TONS of people asking whether or not it was planned, which in my opinion is quite tacky!
People should mind their own &$*#( business!!!

Was it planned?...Did you plan to ask such a personal question?
I'm sorry are you happy?...You should be sorry, that was rude and I'm annoyed.
I'm sorry you have to go through this, people just don't realize how rude and insensitive they can be. I only told 1 person at my job so that someone here knows in case of emergency, and she asked if it was planned. You are not alone.

We got pregnant about 2 months after we got married. I haven't heard many of those "wow, that was quick" comments, just 1 or 2 that I knew were complete jokes. It would annoy me to keep hearing people ask.

I would have responded that nowadays with the medical advancement, it's most likely not an accident. They do have the pill NOWADAYS! It's not 1940.
I got PG 1.5 months after we were married. I got the "wow, you don't lose any time". I responded..... "If you knew me better, which you don't, you would have known we wanted children right away. We planned it that way"

My brother got married this past July and they are expecting a baby in June of this year!
We were a little surprised at first, but, everyone is so happy for them!

We get "Wow, you didn't waste any time" b/c we had 2 kids by our 3rd wedding anniversary. Ummm, we've known each other for 16 years and been together romantically for 7 years, so it's really not that quick. People are so freakin' rude.

OH YES!!!! I think we got every question from the most random people. The cleaning guy at work asked me (about 6 months ago, once I found out it could be more difficult to get pregnant than originally thought) if I was pregnant yet. I said no and went back to my work.
He kept asking me questions like 'Well, do you want them? How long are you going to wait? Are you trying?' I thought I was going to cry. I don't even know the guy.
Thankfully, we got our Christmas miracle.

With our first we had been married 6 months before getting pregnant, and some people said stuff, but I just ignored it. It's not really anyone's place to say when you are ready so just ignore them.

Yes, we get it ALL the time We actually got pregnant before the wedding and when I tell people when I'm due, they're like "Wow... you didn't waste any time"... or "Wow, that was fast..."
It's like... the ONE thing I have come to REALLY not like about being pregnant - unsolicited advice and comments!

Sorry to crash the board... but, I think its crazy that no matter what you decide SOMEONE will make a stupid comment.
I am not PG, but all my friends are. Daily, I get asked when I will start planning, when i will start having, when... Thankfully, we didn't start yet, but.. I immagine I would be very upset at these questions if I was trying and couldn't....
