aruba....
we're heading to aruba for our 1 year anniversary in less than 3 weeks!!!! can anyone make any suggestions of where we should make reservations for dinner the night of our anniversary? we'll probably do one other really nice dinner, so a couple of choices would be great!!!! thanks!!!!

YES!!!!
either Le dome- that was our favorite or
Chez Mathilde. they are both delicious and super romantic! if you go to Chez tell them you want the garden room- awwww I miss it there. If you want romantic dinner on beach go to either Azul in the wyndham or flying fishbone and tell them you want to sit off to the right side private. all places if DH calls will put flowers or a candlabra on your table. it is not expensive at all. have fun!!!!!!!

Definitely Flying Fishbone... you sit with your feet in the water at sunset... and the best food!! (The name is kind of misleading, it was the most romantic dinner I ever had)!

Simply Fish at the Marriott...that's my favorite restaurant in Aruba. It's right on the beach...lit by candlelight...so romantic and the food was awesome!!!

Also, the Sunset Grille in the Radisson is fantastic!!

While you are there- ( maybe not the Anniversary night) definitely go to El Gauchos for steak and sangria- not romantic but yummy

the sunset grill has great food but its not that romantic. at least we didnt think so. we went to el gaucho- I didnt think it was that great and then after I got home I was told no you if you want really good argentine steak go to amazonia next to aqua grill- next time I will try it!

Def try and do the flying fishbone on a day that you rent a car down there.... the cab ride (as DH and I learned) to and from is kind of expensive.

so disappointed....they aren't open on sundays.....and our anniversary is on sept 18th.. 
so, i think we're going to try for them another night, and give someplace else a try. thanks for all the input!!!

usually there are other people from the hotel going to similar places-you can split a cab with them. we split the cab fare with a couple.... just in case you dont have a car to rent..
