Re: Lawyer

$1200. But after reading other posts on the topic, I think that may be at the high end.

Re: Lawyer

1200 is a bit high for LI(I run a lawyer referral network for a RE firm) 800-1000 is average. Do not let anyone charge you by the hour. Also keep in mind that you don't really want to go below 750-800 because people that charge less than that are usually on the road all the time doing closings so you will never be able to contact them

Re: Lawyer

we paid $950- and that included the title guy....who we did not tip, I guess because he was paid by the attorney. I think he got $100 out of it.

Re: Lawyer

we paid 2,250Chat Icon but he was worth every penny

Also, we had an unusual case b/c the seller didn't have an attorney, which made for a lot of work for our attorney

me too!

Up to 3 free closings in a 5 year period. So both our buy and sell will be zero lawyers fees.

Re: Lawyer

Ours charges $1000, but we only paid $500 as a professional courtesy (my family business gives them a lot of work).
