I'm back!
Had a great time - never thought I could have so much fun at a casino! (lol - we're not gamblers.)
We played a cheap poker tournament Thursday night and lasted for a while - I impressed myself! I lasted about 3 hrs, FH was in for about 2 1/2.
The Tropicana was amazing - I'm SO glad I decided to book there. Like I said, we're not gamblers, but there was SO much to do there - I think the book said there are 70something restaurants bars in the hotel.... comedy club, karaoke, live music at every turn, it was a blast. We walked up the whole boardwalk on Friday and went into every casino, and I'm so glad we stayed where we did.
THANKS Don, for perfect directions. We made it there in just about 3 hours, but it took 4 coming home. (belt f%&$ing parkway!)

We weren't planning on staying Friday night too (it was about $350!  ), but my grandparents and uncle were in town, and were able to get us a comp room at the Borgata. It really is a beautiful hotel - the artwork alone is fabulous, but there was nothing to do there EXCEPT gamble, or attend the "lingerie party"  . Just what I wanted to see - skinny beotches romping around the casino floor in bras and thongs. We felt very limited in there, so we took the car over to the boardwalk and explored some more.
This was my first time in A.C., and I really had a great time. Wish I was still there!
Hope everyone had a nice (half) weekend so far.

Glad you had a fun time. I wish we could have stayed a few more days myself.
I think we might go back in October during the jewish Holidays

thanks guys :) we did have fun.
eta: I never realized how much I hate sleeping alone until last night when I got home . We don't live together, and it really $ucks.

Shorty and others! I am back too-we got back last night. We actually stayed A LOT longer than we were supposed to. We were going to leave Friday night, but FH's sister and boyfriend had a room at the TROP! So we stayed there Fri nite, and Sat nite we stayed at a holiday inn.
I didn't see Shorty :( But I saw one of my managers there, lol, 2 guys I knew from high school and another guy we knew...all at the borgata sat nite! It was so weird. But we had so much fun-we drank, ate, gambled and went to the beach.
I won $450-and I played slots, roulette and blackjack. I'm so glad we went-bc we havent gone away since last summer and we arent goin away again till our honeymoon! (Gotta save up!)
I'll post some pictures when I get them developed
