Anyone else have/had a really scarey/ugly basement??
I do!!! But I have to do something to make it less creepy and more appealing!! We are turning part of it into a playroom and putting a washer and dryer down there so I am going to be spending ALOT of time in there from now on 
I've lived here for 2 years.. I think I have been down there 2 or 3 times

MIne isn't scary, just really ugly!
One side is unfinished and has the qoil burner, washer, dryer, storage closet. The other side is "finished" with wood paneling and an ugly wodd paneled bar

We have a "crawl" basement that you can only get into literally by crawling. It creeps me out.

I just had to kill a bunch of yellow jackets in my basement today  (I think they came in the window frame they were hanging around).
It's not normally "scary" down there but it is unfinished so nothing to look at and lots of spider webs!

Yeah my landlords FIL lives there. Hes half deaf and doesnt understand English well. Its scary because its filled with taxidermy!
