is this too presumptuous of us?

DH's parents are snowbirds, they spend the summers up here and then from October to may they are in florida. For Christmas we got them tickets to fly up to NY for a week in March, about 2 weeks after my due date. They dont work while their down there and usually don't do much, so i dont' think we're infringing on any of their plans, but do you think we should have consulted them on dates or anything /

i agree w the above. it's very thoughtful of you two. and given the due date and now it's likely they may not anything planned then.

i think that is a great idea!! and they have a few months notice so it should be fine!

I think that any opportunity to spend with their grandchild will be a welcomed gift.

It is a good idea, but being two weeks late would turn it into a terrible idea! How flexible are the tickets?

your OB won't let you go more than 2 weeks late - so I think it's great. parents definitely turn into crazed grandparents - I think they'll love it! they would probably book the tickets themselves - if you don't
