Please help,,anticipating My separation anxiety!!

Hi, Dh and I are going to Cancun for a long weekend on Friday- to celebrate our 4 year anniversary. I am now in complete panic mode and can't sleep..

Ava is almost 2 1/2 and I am afarid to leave her. We have left her overnight with my parents a bunch of times and with dh's parents a few times. The longest I have been away from her was 2 nights, when we went to Greenport last year ......even that was hard on me.

My Mom will take off of work Friday(I will bring her to my parents on Thurs night) and she will stay there till Sunday night. She has a pack-n-play set up there that she naps in regularly. She also has tons of toys and movies there too.

I know she will be fine, but I am still scared..Why???

She is peanut allergic...
The stomach flu is going around and she was hospitalized with it at 12 mos and 18 mos...
She has a bad cold..

and as I am typing this I realize how ridiculous I sound....

Please give me any advice or support that you can. I need it!!!

She will be ok. Her grandparents will watch the peanut allergy like hawks. She's already immune to the stomach virus (ok maybe not but maybe she is...).

They'll make it an adventure for her and it will be good for them, for her & for you.

The best thing you could do is to take a bread once & awhile.

I know when I went away the only time I was missed was when they were tired & wanted Mommy.

She will be great. Easier said than done but there is nobody better to leave her with than Grandma and Grandpa - I'm sure they love her just as much as you and DH do! Enjoy your vacation!
