Weird as it is, American Beauty. The scene where the kid watches the leaves swirling around made me really stop and look around me at my surroundings and the little things in life you may not necessarily notice.

The Shawshank Redemption...it's my all-time favorite movie and really moved me. I cried long after the movie ended too...and still cry whenever I see it.
