For moms of more than 1
When did you tell your other children that you were pregnant? How did you tell them? How did they handle it?

Re: For moms of more than 1
We waited until the 12 wk mark to tell Emma (Jeremy really could still care less). I didn't want to tell her something then have something happen to the baby. We brought her to the sono (ultrascreen) and we showed her the baby on the screen. She was a little freaked out at first but now she is THRILLED!!

Re: For moms of more than 1
My son was 17 months when we found out and he actually knew right away. We hever had any talks or explanations. He started hugging and kissing my belly way before I even got one. We have no idea how he found out, he never saw DH doing it when he started to do it and it was way before there was any "you are having a sibling" talk.
He is now 20 months and he continues kissin my belly, giving it hugs, strocking it and calling it Baby...
I guess little children just know! Intuition!

DD will be 14 months old when #2 is born, I have NO clue how to prepare her, if I even can.
:Hopefully at the hard toddler age approaching the terrible two's she will be nice to her new bro/sis.
