My daughter is a genius
So, for the last few weeks, everytime I give Alex a bath, she starts doing something with her hands, over and over again, in the bath. She's learning sign language at daycare, and has quite a sign vocabulary (dog, water, food, eat, milk, thank you, again, more, teacher, mommy, daddy, etc), so I figured she was signing something and I just didn't know what it was, so this morning I asked her teacher what it meant - she told me it meant "wash". My little genius understood the sign meant wash, and only does it when she's in the bath, for a "wash". And just yesterday she started signing for book, so I would read to her... I love it!

That is great! It makes it so much easier when they can communicate. Terrible twos are a lot less troublesome.

 True, SO true... but what happens when she signs for something she wants (like her pacifier) and I say NO?
