Im having a Housewarming..

Have any of you had a housewarming? I made my guest list and its long..LOL
I just pray for gorgeous weather. My mom is so excited. She;s helping a lot.
Im gonna just have it catered with hero and salads and a cake.
Have music playing and dh wants to be the bar tender..LOL
My basement really isnt ready for show. Thats ok though right? Most of the house is.
When we get more $$ together, we are redoing the bathroom so my guests will see the "old" one for now.
Im getting nervous!

Don't worry about it.. everyone is going to be so happy for the both of you and it's to celebrate your new home. your guests will not and cannot expect you to have your entire home renovated and madeover in a blink of an eye. and the way I think of it is that they will be able to appreciate your "new" bathroom (or any other room you plan on renovating) by seeing what it looked like before the transformation.

My mom is taking me shopping now! She called and said "Dad and I want to buy you your valences and curtains!".
