My SIL (LaurenExp) has a 13 year old & a 9 year old. She rarely visits the Parenting Board since she's on the Infertility Board.
I know there are a few other moms of teenagers.

I am a step-parent....I have a 10 year old step-daughter who lives with us. I also have a 3 month old baby girl.

She'll be 16 in a week...yikes
I remember that age a little to well
It just scares the hell out of me...
I really new to being a step mom and I have alot of concerns...to say the least
She lives in another state and her dad and I are really just getting to know her. We both only me her a few months ago...long story but all good.
I guess the big question is...
Am I a mom?
She has a mother but she has only seen her 3 times in 10 year! Her grandmother raised her (full custody)
She tells me I've been more of a mother to her the past few months the her real mom has been her whole life...which makes me so sad for her
Just wanted to hear your thoughts
