For moms who had GD and/or had to take insulin
did you get itchy feet and or blisters on your heels? I am getting this now at 37 weeks. I am calling dr tomorrow but curious if anyone has gone through this and can give me some insight. TIA.

I had gd but it was diet controlled- no insulin.
This did not happen to me. Feel better!

Years of poorly controlled diabetes can lead to nerve damage in the feet, but I seriously doubt GD would cause any nerve issues. I've never had GD (for obvious reasons... :) ), but as a full-time diabetic, I've never had itchy or tingly feet.

Can that be a fungal infection? preggos and diabetics are more prone to fungal infection...
