Don't know what to do
I had a root canal re-treated (old dentist didn't do it properly) and I am in SO much pain that I have to take pain killers. My dentist said it might take a week to feel better because of the infection. So I've been pumping and throwing it out and giving her formula. I am thinking about stopping the BFing alltogether - it's so much work sitting and pumping it with this throbbing pain inbetween taking care of her all day. Any advice? I BF for about a month. I wanted to do it longer, but I will also be going back to work in Feb. and won't be pumping at work. I'm so consufed

I think you need to go with your heart.
You have done the best that you can for your baby.
Formula is just as good.

I agree.. go with your heart. a happy mommy = happy baby, i really believe that! any amount of BM that she got imo is a plus. dont beat yourself up over it, you have to do what works best!

i completely agree....
feel better - i had a cracked tooth while pregnant that got infected - and made my face blow up on one sude - tere's so much pressure!! a word f advice - if the antibiotics don't work w/in a few days call your dentist....i didn't and after a week i finally did - turns out he switched drugs and w/in 24 hrs i was feeling some improvement!
hang in there and feel better!

Thanks girls! I am going to try to stick it out a few more days of dealing with the pain and pumping and take it from there. Thanks again!
