2nd tooth just came in!
And he's only 4 months and 4 days old! At least he's back to his old self. Nothwithstanding the pinkeye and stuffy nose in the AM.
He and I had the best time last night in his room while I was changing him. He was in such a great mood I decided to try some tops on him since I wasn't sure if they were too big or just right. He dind't cry at all...and I sang and he "sang" along with me.
DH tried to horn in on the fun but I told him to get out Mommy and Liam never get to hang out anymore now that I'm back to work so this is my fun time with him. He gets to lie in with Liam in the mornings so this is my time

Re: 2nd tooth just came in!
Congratulations Liam!
He is so cute!
My DS is 6 months old and I noticed his first tooth coming in at 5 months. This 1 little sucker is taking it's time rising up...LOL I mean you can see it and it's more obvious but it's still small. It's like watching corn growing in a field...

Re: 2nd tooth just came in!
Thanks! We didn't even see the first tooth coming, my IL's from Ireland were here that week and they were all over Liam (first time seeing him) and they kept saying he was teething and I just kept saying "really? ok..." because I didn't think they knew what they were talking about! After all they also thought I should have been feeing him solids at 2 months So when it came in I couldn't believe it. He's so young!

Oh yeah they can start really young. I've heard that some babies are born with teeth. Mine has been drooling since he was 2 months old and everyone kept saying that he was teething. I used to be like "just because he's drooling doesn't mean he's teething, babies just drool sometimes" Then when the hands started going in the mouth everyone was like "look he is definitely teething" sure enough at 5 months I noticed the tooth coming in. DH was like "told you so". Thank God he hasn't been in that much pain yet. I honestly thought it would take longer for that 1st tooth to come in because I heard it could be months for the 1st tooth to come in. Hopefully they'll all finish coming in soon and that there still won't be any pain for him.

I'm dreading when the 2 yr molars come in, I hear those are the worst in terms of pain for the baby and pain for the mommies and daddies!
