Help please!
I had an internal sonogram on Monday, and everything was fine, I saw the heartbeat and everything. Yesterday and today I have some spotting. I know that its normal to get spotting after pap smears, but is it also normal after internal sonograms??

From what I have been reading here, yes, it can happen. I didn't have any internal sono's - only external onces since I had a previous m/c. That may be why - I would have thought I was having another m/c after the sono if I saw bleeding. I'm sure it's fine, but call your doctor to make sure.

When I first found out I was pregnant my dr. did an internal sonogram and I had some bleeding, which she warned me about beforehand. The dr. told me when you are pregnant, as everything grows and stretches, the blood vessels and stuff become softer and more apparent. I would call your dr. if it makes you more comfortable, but I also had some bleeding and spotting.

I had brown spotting also. I think its normal as long as its brown.
