Had our 6 month visit
yesterday. Dr. said Ellie lost weight since last visit. Meanwhile I feel like I feed her all day long. So I'll have to shovel even more solids in and we'll see what we can do about it. Also said she sees 2 teeth budding in front. Not sure if I should be excited or dreading this based on what everyone has said. And she got her flu shot with her other vaccines so she can be ready to start daycare in Jan
Otherwise she said she looks great!

Sounds good. Not every baby has bad teething problems. Patrick never once complained about his teeth. Not one tear.

Re: Had our 6 month visit
Just wanted to tell you that DS has his two bottom teeth and he was fine. The only thing he did with both is for about a week before the tooth cut through he would wake up at the same times twice a night, this last time it was 4am and 6:30am. He wasn't cranky or crying just wanted to be held for a few before going back to bed. I'll take that any day over a screming baby!

Re: Had our 6 month visit
That is so funny that she lost weight. Andrew lost weight at his 6 month visit too. We had to go for a follow up and he finally gained.

I guess I'm glad she's not the only one. The Ped did say that some of it is attributable to the increased mobility, which she is definitely going through. She's standing or creeping or sitting up all day long where she used to just lay around. But I still have to offer her more solids. Weird, b/c I felt like I was giving her a lot, but the Ped said she should basically be pushing it away when she's done and she's never done that.
