Re: question about movement in the 3 trimester..
It has been that way for me too. Not as much movement, but sometimes when she does, she DOES! I used to feel her all day long, but now mostly just after meals and when DH talks to my belly!

Re: question about movement in the 3 trimester..
Definitely. I think there's just less room. The movements are less frequent but stronger (ouch!!). The doctor told me as long as I'm feeling 4 movements in a one hour period in the morning and at night i'm fine.

Re: question about movement in the 3 trimester..
Most definitely. I had company here this weekend who wanted to feel the baby move. the baby just wasn't. I felt hiccups and little jabs, but nothing like before.
They of course, expressed there concern..baby should be moving more..I kept explaining it was a mover now its not.

Re: question about movement in the 3 trimester..
I completely freaked about this yesterday- I finally got a full nights sleep so of course I thought something was wrong. I tried to "wake" her up in the shower and she wasn't doing her usual moving around. I almost drove myself to the emergency room!
Luckily she started moving a half an hour later. I just want her born already so I can stop worrying.

Re: question about movement in the 3 trimester..
This definitely happens. When she is active I feel like I feel it a ton but I think its very cramped in there. I had an NST yesterday that took forever because she was sleeping. Then I got home and baby decided now was the time to be awake!

yes, movement does slow down because poor baby is running out of room!!!

Re: question about movement in the 3 trimester..
The funny thing is that the movement didn't slow down too much for me. He definately wasn't AS active, but he was certainly doing the jig in there on a daily basis. When I had him at over 9 1/2 lbs, I was like "where did he find all that room?"

Re: question about movement in the 3 trimester..
Movement has NOT slowed down for me at all. Baby is extremely active it has been since 16 weeks. Everyone gets a kick out of it b/c you can see my shirt move a lot or see a bulge on one side of my belly often. It is really painful now though I have to say.
