IWW! Something gross about Baby Alive
I was shopping in Target for this doll that is SOLD OUT everywhere, and one of the workers told me a gross story she heard from a mother, if you don't clean out baby alive regularly with warm soapy water it can get magets . I guess when you feed the baby if it stays inside of her too long it rots, YUCK!!!! No Baby Alive for us!!!

Mold and yicky dry stuff yes, but maggots, that's stuff not "real food". I wouldnt believe that.
I used tohave something similiar to baby alive when i was little, i could feed it, it would pee/poo, it never got maggots!!

You know what...I had one when I was younger and it was in the basements and yes there were magots after a long period of time....it is TRUE..sorry.

I was wondering about that when I saw the doll on Regis and Kelly, I wasn't sure how you can clean all the food out of the baby? Wow! I'm sure they are going to get a lot of returns on that toy!

not sure what the bay food is made of but it must have salt and other perservatives for freshness, so it can go bad

Actually the food is dried applesauce flakes - that is what my mom was told years ago when I fed the food to my brother  Granted we are talking about 30 years ago but I would think it is the same...

If you rinse the doll out after, i don't think the food stays int here. My mom used to rinse her out after i used her.
