I am making some of my own food. The ped gave me a book by Annabel Karmal "First Foods." I've been using it as a reference along with "What to Expect."

I've been making my own. Starting out there's nothing more to it than steaming the veggie/fruit and pureeing it with some of the cooking water.
So far I've made: applesauce peas carrots sweet potatoes cauliflower avocado (no cooking, just mashing a ripe one)
There are recipes to make your own cereal also, but I didn't.
There are some "recipes" here
