Another Zantac ?
Parker HATES the taste! She gags and tries to spit it out then cries cries cries. I hate giving it to her. Anyone else have this happen? Any suggestions?

Katie HATES it - has hated it every day for the last 6 months!
We do a sneak attack with her...I give her her bottle and while she's taking her bottle I sneak the medicine dropper in the side of her mouth and squeeze the Zantac in - she s*cks it right down with the bottle no problem.

I am having the very same issues with giving DS Zantac.. he freaks out the minute the stuff touches his lips (and I dont blame him, I tasted it and its  )
I just don't give up and make sure he swallows it down, but it does break my heart to see him so upset about it

i personally i wouldnt do that. i think that it would change the taste of the formula and might cause more problems. i found that putting the syringe all the way back to the back of the throat minimizes the taste. hannah actually takes zantac with no problems now.

What about Axid? Its the same thing as Zantac but it is bubblegum flavored. Thats what Jacob was on when he took it. Otherwise, if i had to give him any other oral meds i would suck it up into a syringe and shoot it into his mouth. Worked every time. Good luck!!

DD loves her zantac????? It tastes gross to me but she drinks Nutramigen and that's gross too. Good luck.

Ask your ped about Axid, it's supposed to taste better.
The Zantac can be flavored with grape but it barely masks the mint.
