Who got rid of their radiators????

Did you put in baseboards? Just wondering how much it cost. I hate those radiators!

Re: Who got rid of their radiators????

My mom did this last year as part of a big renovation she did on her house. I forget how much it was, but she said that what she didn't factor into the price was the removal of the old oil tank, which isn't included in the conversion price. You have to hire some special kind of environmental company to do it, which she said cost more than the conversion of the radiators.

We got rid of all of our radiators as well. MY DH and his uncle put in all baseboard throughout the whole house. We were lucky and got all the material at wholesale, cuz DH's family are plumbers and own plumbing supplies. It definately is nicer looking!
