Re: splenda sucralose
I use two splenda's a day in my morning coffee...sometimes a little bit more.
My Dr. Saw nothing wrong with it when I told her and I am high risk. I wouldnt take any chances with my pregnancy at ALL, and I am safe with my usage.

Re: splenda sucralose
Supposedly it's the safer of the artificial sweetners. I've had it before in moderation but don't use it on a regular basis. If it was a choice between splenda sucralose and aspartame sweetner, I would definitely choose the splenda. Ask your doctor just to be on the safe side, but the articles I've read seem to think it's okay (I think you can find information on this subject on babycenter.com - I'm pretty sure that's where I read about it).

Re: splenda sucralose
I don't know the scientific findings....but it IS an artificial sweetner so I only use sugar in my coffee or baking, etc. Sometimes I use honey in my tea

Re: splenda sucralose
Everything I read while PG said that it could be used. If you go to the splenda website, I believe it says that it does not cross the placenta. I liked to drink diet soda (which I only allowed myself 1-2 a day while PG) but was looking for something besides aspartame. I switched to Pepsi One because it is made with Splenda.

I agree. I asked at the Dr.'s office and they told me that studies have shown it is OK, but I prefer to just cut it out and be on the safe side.
