As soon as I put them in Sarah starts pulling on them and if she can't get them out herself she starts crying and really pulling so hard her hair comes out. What can I use to keep the hair back out of her face?

Emily pulls her barettes out of her hair now but I still pull her hair back with a ponytail holder. I have to wrap it around 4 times so it is kinda tight and she won't pull it out. It will get loose and be a loose ponytail but the rubberband is still in there good.

Thanks! I'll try to pick up some of those little rubber bands this weekend.

It drives me nuts, she'll pull them out and then she's constantly pushing the hair out of her face. Just leave them in!!!

be careful with the ponytail holders, that she doesn't get them out and into her mouth. :)

Sydney ( now 3+) would never ever let me put anything in her hair until just recently....our solution was a pretty simple haircut, bangs and all. Now she lets my when she is in the mood for a ponytail.

I am so jealous of people who have DDs with enough hair that they need to worry about keeping it out of their faces. My DD will happily keep a clip in (never pulled them out, and she is 21 months now), but they are only there for decoration so people don't think she's a boy. Chat Icon

My daughters take out everythihg. It's VERY rare if they let me keep clips/ponytail holders in. I usually let their hair alone. Their bangs are very long but, they don't seem to mind.
