Do you sing lullabies?
If so, which ones? My friend is expecting a baby in March and asked if I knew any. I know of one Irish one, but that's it.

Re: Do you sing lullabies?
I sing 'I just called to say I love You' and 'Over the Rainbow'. Not true lullabies but she loves them anyway

Re: Do you sing lullabies?
Absolutely. I use common tunes, like Twinkle, Twinkle, etc. but make up the words about how much I love Ava.

Re: Do you sing lullabies?
Every night we sing, "The ABC song," "You are my Sunshine," "A You're Adorable," and "The Itsy Bitsy Spider." We also choose from "Hush Little Baby," "Twinkle, Twinkle," etc. There are books of lullabies. Maybe that would make a good gift for your friend.

I sing her the song "Lovable" alot...
Lovable....my girl, she's lovable..
Lovable...my girl is so lovable....
Candy's sweet, and honey too
There's not a girl that's quite as sweet as you...
Woah...I love my girl...she's soooo lovable...

Re: Do you sing lullabies?
We sing Noah lots of Smiths songs, they are so pretty and the words are so grim, we figure they must be lullabies!
Our favorite is: This night has opened our eyes ( in a river the colour of lead, immerse the baby's head, wrap her up in the news of the world, dump her on a doorstep girl)
Such a pretty song! Such grim subject Matter...thats a lullaby! The only thing that its missing is a mouse getting its tail lopped off, the black plague, a baby falling from a tree...etc etc

From the time we were in the hospital moments after they were born, I have been doing this! When you're alone and feeding your DC you need something to keep you occupied!
