Do you call the baby by its name?
When you refer to the baby do you call it the baby or do you say "name".
I always just say the baby as in "I bought this for the baby" or "when the baby gets here". My cousin and his wfie and all their family call their baby "cassandra". And will talk about it all the time, Cassandra this, Cassandra that.
Does everyone do this? Am I the only weird one who doesn't?

When I talk about the baby to other people I usually just say "she/her," but when I'm talking to the baby or my DH I'll say Hannah.

I still say "her" most of the time.
The only time we call her by her name is when DH and I talk to my belly. We say "Leah Rae - time to come out now!"

I call her "baby". We do have a favorite name and DH has been calling her by that name...only in private though. I think it's absolutely adorable but I'm still superstitious about officially naming her before she's born so she's still "baby" to me.

Not only does it not have a name - it doesnt even have a gender - I call it "IT" most of the time!

We call him Oscar. Which won't be the name (probably) even before we knew the sex.
It started as a joke because the baby was so grouchy when we were doing the ultrascreen.

We will call it "baby" most of the time. DH does call the baby "Bartholamew" he keeps sayin that's the name he wants. I never called my son by the name we chose before he was born. I found it weird.

Guess I'm bad too...I call the baby IT in emails, phone calls and conversations. Of course, I also blame the baby and tell IT how bad it is for causing the burping and constant peeing I'm experiencing. So maybe I'm more bad/badder?
Granted, I refuse to find out the gender...but it would be my luck to get told it's a boy and start talking about "daniel" all the time and out pop "danielle" if you know what I mean. So personally, I think it's better to refer to them as IT or the baby until you are certain. ha!

I call my baby "Baby B" and I have family members doing it too..LOL My mom LOVES to talk to my belly and my 2 year old nephew loves to "Kiss the baby" and kisses my belly.

We dont know nor do we want to know the sex. I find myself referring to the baby as "the kid" lol
