So we went for a two week f/u after being on Amoxicillin for 10 days. It's been two weeks since he was diagnosed and the Dr. said he still has fluid in his ear. He didn't seem concerned because Roman was acting fine and hasn't had any fever. Is this common? Dr. said it could take months for the fluid to completly clear up but of course he could also get another infection. Maybe the antibiotic wasn't strong enough? I hope I'm not looking at a cronic condition. What do you think?

we stopped Sydney's medicine because it had been 10 days and the doctor said they looked clear, but she is still tugging on her ear. Whatever that means?

I thought you were ALWAYS supposed to finish medication. The Dr. told you not to?

the doctor told us to use it for 10 days, and we did. She saw the doctor a few days earlier and the ears were clear but we did continue the meds. You think I am supposed to give it to her longer?
