How did I get this motherhood gig??
I must be such a freak...I feed my kid raisins, I couldn't care less about germs, I let him eat paper, I let him play with the cats, bang on the television and the windows, eat crap from off the floor. Tonight for dinner he ate babyfood which was defrosted YESTERDAY...and he managed to survive until bedtime!! I let him chew on the television remotes, I change him right on the floor, I use those portable changers in public restrooms, as a matter of fact, last week I let him crawl around on the floor of a CAFE, where OTHER PEOPLE WALKED!!! MAYBE EVEN WITH DIRTY SHOES!!! And on special ocassions, I put the kid IN A BOX. AND HE LIKES IT.
Everyone else seems like such a better, more caring mother than I do...How did I get this job? One quick shag after a night out drinking champers and I am someones mother!!! Blimey! Call child protection services now!!
eta...oh yeah, and the kid LOVES LOVES LOVES to eat Cat Food!! Yummy!

Just not the kind who is freaked out very easily
My DD will def be eating dirt, on the floor too. My mom is constantly b*tching at me if when i dont wash her paci if it hits the floor, in my own house!
Can't protect them from everything, they have to learn sometime that eating dog food isn't yummy, or cat food

I'm not as worry-wartish as a lot of other moms....
In fact, my DD has eaten 3 boxes of raisins since yesterday.
Oh, the diaper changes!!!!
But she seems to like them. I'm going to hold off on sending them to the babysitters just yet, as she watches 5 kids and might not be supervising feedings as much as I do when I am with DD......but I will continue to give them to her at home.
You know what else I do?
I put her right in the highchair at restaurants...and right in the shopping cart...without one of those covers!!!  Oh just imagine the germs!

I agree, I would let my kid do all the above except eat cat food and crap! That is just plain mean, what is the number to UK CPS??

OMG please don't report me....
You mean that Aidan was *not* supposed to be laying under the table at Chilli's (EWWWWW!) eating puffs dropped on the floor (EWWWWW!) by Fiona and Saoirse? While his perfectly good lunch sat on top of the table and went untouched?
I can't even remember when I started giving him raisins but they don't come out whole in the diaper 
He was always a very good, thorough chewer with tons of teeth.
