Uh oh...

So this morning I decided to go to Jordana's daycare to sit in on her music class. I knew I would be late to work but I don't have much to do. Plus my boss hasn't been in for months. Also, there is a new teacher and I wanted to meet her and observe her a little because my favorite teacher and another teacher just left.

Well I wasn't sure what to do because i Had a feeling my boss woudl be in. But that wasn't based on anything. Just a hunch.

Well my hunch was right. Of course he was! And I wasn't here. He went to a meeting but should be back by 1. I am so nervous. I haven't eaten lunch. I called and said I would be late, but I hate being late at all- especially on a day when my boss is here.

I hope so.

He just lost a major trial that the firm has been working on for years. I have only seen him here once since I came back from maternity leave (in July) because of this trial.

He never came in this afternoon. His morning meeting ran into his afternoon meeting. It sux because I haven't seen him in months and haven't spoken to him in about a month since he was on this major trial.

I just have a crazy work ethic that the thought of him coming in the one day I was late kills me. I also wanted to touch base with him about a few things. I can always call him tomorrow, but I was hoping to see him.
