I am not a fan of her but this is really something. Maybe I'm not a fan of her just because of the way she has been spun. Maybe she really is a lovely, charitable person and we all see her as this vixen looking to destroy the monarchy. (The Yacht girl info didn't help my opinion). This article shows just how sh!tty the media can be. I'm not a huge fan of our pres but I definitely think he has a point with the "fake news media". Crazy.

Nell, that is hilarious. At first I really wanted to like Meghan. But the more and more I see I don't care for either her or Harry. Even if Harry wanted to leave, and frankly I don't blame him for wanting to leave, he just did it terribly. I do think they have been planning things for a while (i.e. when they pitched the voice over work instead and attended the movie premiere with Beyonce vs going to the military charity event Harry was supposed to attend). I am glad they are paying back for the work they did at Frogmore. I just see her as an opportunist, and he wanted out by any means necessary. The one thing I did read was that she is now into Scientology. If that is actually true, I wonder if Charles will still give them money. I could see him completely cutting them off for that move.

Scientology... now I think she is freak on top of being fake lol.
I feel bad because I know this is going to put a bigger strain on the brothers relationship, hope I’m wrong but I doubt it. Diana would not be happy about that. Sucks.

I just liked to see the pictures and loved the story of William and Kate. Didn’t like Meghan but though their story was cute too. Also love seeing the babies just like with any celeb kids. They’re just so cute. Lol.

i feel bad because he gave up everything-his family, his name, his country, his charities-for her. i can't see myself ever doing that for anyone. giving up my life's work?
my question is what now? what is an ex-prince qualified to do?

See but how do we know that he is doing all this "for her"? I mean I don't really follow the royals and I really don't know very much about her at all. I know that a lot of people seem to dislike her, but I don't know enough about her to have an opinion on her one way or the other. So maybe I am missing something. But how do we know she is pulling all the strings and dictating to him that he needs to give up his family, his country, his charities? Is it possible he WANTS to give these things up? On his own? Or that they want it together? I saw this thing on Instagram I think and it said something like - why do we always assume it's the woman who is to blame when a man makes a decision that doesn't align with his family's and that the woman is brainwashing or controlling him. And it's kind of true. You hear it all the time. Automatically assuming the woman is a witch and wants to control her husband. And it's kind of sexist to be honest. Again, this could very well be the case with them. She could be a controlling, manipulative bitcch and he could be totally p-whipped. But again, do we know this for sure?

I agree with Nell...Harry was never a “by the book” royal. He often did what he wanted to do, and always seemed to want to be more normal.
William was always going to be King, Harry is what now—6th in line? He probably sees no benefit to playing the game. I’d prefer to live my own life.
As far as money...I’m pretty sure he has enough in a trust that his grandchildren will never have to work. They’ll be just fine.

as the wife who gets blamed for all of her husband's decisions, I get how blaming the woman is hurtful. however, he created all these charities (sentable, invictus games, etc.) that he truly and really cares about. his military career was the one thing that brought him joy (or so he said, and it seemed) and when he could no longer continue, he started to do charity work with the military. he did this on behalf of the queen. which would mean he has to give all of that up now. things that he truly seemed to care about. you're right, i don't know if she persuaded him to do it. but these are charities he dedicated his life to and now can no longer be a part of (in the role he had at least). it just seems like a complete 180 for him.

I mean it’s obvious no one knows anything and this is all speculation. Just like you don’t know she really isn’t the root cause. But to act like things haven’t changed since she has become a royal or the perception isn’t there is crazy to ignore. She had some bad stigma to her as an actress in the US before this. I don’t think it’s sexist and that is very extreme. If it was reverse and the female princess was becoming power hungry or her perception changed right after marriage, people would think it was her husbands influence. I believe this actually happened with the Queen in her early stages of wearing the crown and I think she fought hard to separate herself from male influences.
Sexism is vey alive but I think we should avoid labeling everything as sexist before we start turning it to another buzz word.

100% agree with this. I also think he was a royal that was still following in his moms footsteps and path.

when i say sexism it's more- men are dumb, they are controlled by women, they are pusssy whipped, men are scared of their wives, happy wife, happy life- stuff like that. I was referring to sexism against men actually. like he must not have a mind of his own because some woman turned his head and he can only think with his penis.
