It's verrrry slow for me sometimes, but I'm keeping with it because of how insane I think it is.

Same. I watch it on 1.5x speed and will still skip in 30 second chunks. Too many lingering and landscape shots.

Re: Escape from Dannemora - Showtime
Not only is it slow. But they MUMBLE!! And it's driving me crazy! I'm having a hard time understanding what they are saying half the time and have to rewind it a few times.
  But I'm still watching

Thank you for saying that, I thought I was going deaf. I had to keep asking my husband to raise the volume. I thought it was just me!! LOL

Re: Escape from Dannemora - Showtime
We are watching. I don't LOVE it but I really enjoy true stories so we are in it for the long haul. At times it is V E R Y slow but I can say that got a little better after the first episode.

Re: Escape from Dannemora - Showtime
I did like it... But the last episode was an hour too long.
Maybe because I knew the outcome... I wasn't overwhelmed with the ending. I thought they all did a great job though.
Patricia Arquette gained 40 pounds for that role. That's dedication.

But can you imagine how much fun it would be to have to gain 40 lbs? Tacos! Pizza! Kit Kats! Bring it on! LOL I'd be in heaven!
But having to get it off afterwards- yeah not so fun.

  haha so true!!!
BTW if anyone is interested here is the full investigation from the inspector general. It is so interesting.
I kind of felt sorry for Tilly in the series and seeing her on interviews. After reading this, makes me think otherwise... How many times she got things into prison for them. They made it look like it was just twice in the series and just a couple of blades.

Re: Escape from Dannemora - Showtime
Honestly I think there is a 2 hour Lifetime movie about this very story if you want to watch something that moves faster.
