My brother's family does so when we were there for Christmas I think we did every night. Sometimes they will when they are at our house. My niece is pretty conditioned to it so when we don't she'll kind of look around in surprise or dismay. Sometimes my brother will just tell her it's fine and sometimes we'll all just stop and do it.

DH and I don't but my step-dad or his dad does whenever we have a holiday meal

No, I do not, but that doesn't mean I never thank God for what I have either.

I went to Catholic school, so we said it before lunch every day from 1st through 8th. When my mom was alive, we would say it before Thanksgiving dinner.

I'm glad that I had these outward religious practices as a child because they shaped my inward spiritual/religious beliefs and practices as an adult, and if I have children, I would like Grace to have some presence in their lives.

We do. Have been since I was little. It's so routine to me I don't even realize it. If we are at a restaurant we don't, or at someone else's house we don't.

Mostly holidays. Every once in a blue moon, the kids will ask for us to say it, so we will.

Usually, yes, although i never grew up doing it, neither did DH. We thought their prayer in Nursery schoo, before their snack was cute so we just did it. It stuck, so, why not?
"God is great, God is good, let us thank him for our food. Amen."

DD's have a song, but I only let them do it on holidays (to the tune of Yankee doodle)

I often forget because of the rush & stress of trying to eat with the kids, which bums me out because I want to do it regularly & teach my kids to do it. I think it's so nice & an easy way to fit prayer into the daily routine, also helps us appreciate our food more & not take it for granted. Going to start being better about this!

Not ever and am actually VERY uncomfortable when I am at someone elses home and they say grace because then I feel obligated to participate and then feel like a giant hypocrite because I am atheist.

Every night - now my 5yo and 2yo say it on their own as soon as we sit down.
