Weather Labor Day weekend
Is anyone else following? I'm really bummed. Was looking forward to the original forcast! Kids wanted one more full summer weekend and now it's looking the complete opposite!

I hope not. Hoping the weather forecast is wrong as usual.
However, we still do beach and pool after Labor Day on weekends. It usually stays hot out way into September so if worst comes to worst, we'll do the beach next weekend.
My summer doesn't end on Labor Day.
ETA- just saw this from Rich Hoffman on Facebook:
Will update forecast when track changes and it WILL change - and so will the local impacts.
So at this point- Who the heck knows! Let's hope for the best!

They are saying if it does rain, it will be the second half of the weekend (Sun/Mon).

Weather Labor Day weekend
I need no rain vibes for Sunday please! I have over 50 people including about 15-16 kids coming Sunday for my daughter's 1st birthday and it'll be super tight if we have to stay inside. We just got a new swingset in time for the party so the kids can play. I really hope this storm shifts or at least gives us a couple of hours of dryness.

Oh jeez! And the ironic part- it hasn't rained in a month it seems. Figures right? That is usually my luck too!

Weather Labor Day weekend
We just had to cancel our bbq for Sunday. My good friend is a meteorologist and told us there's no chance it will be dry. I'm super bummed was looking forward to it for weeks. Really no other alternative either since I have a one bedroom apt ??

If you get out early on Saturday you can enjoy the beach for a bit. Looks like after that it's going to be yucky. I'm hoping by Tuesday it's gone for the first day of school.

Rich Hoffman just reported that there won't be much rain with this storm. More wind and problems with tides and coastal flooding.
So you might luck out in terms of rain

I am really bummed with this bad weather forecast. We are heading to VA Beach this afternoon. If it were just our family, I would cancel but we are going with another family and they arrived yesterday. Hopefully Sunday has some dry patches and Monday is supposed to be nice.

Im so lucky we went to wildwood this week! I got stuck on a cruise 5 years ago during irene and last year we had the threat of a tropical storm in DR this same week. Next year im not taking vaca the last week in August!

Awesome! Enjoy! They did say inland will just be windy dont cancel plans. The storm is a few hundred miles out at sea. Its the shore/coast that should be on alert.

Woke up to this and thought of you.
With a shift east.. forecast high gusts have dropped a bit. Weather looks good today (so your backyard bbq are ok) with some gusty winds.. South shore watching for beach erosion. Not looking for much rain next few days.. most of the time it will be dry. Away from shoreline minor issues with gusty winds.

I know! I am pissed I canceled my beach plans then I wake up and see brilliant sun. But it's a bit chilly and we do the beach in the morning so I would be freezing. Lol
