Just got the word, we are officially homeowners!
Question- How can I send my thanks?
Whom do I send it too? I dealt with 3 people at the real estate office, realtor and 2 other people (I believe underwriter and closer) Then the mortgage broker. Do I send all of them something? Or just the realtor? And what?

Just got the word, we are officially homeowners!
I actually didn't give them anything - they all made money off me. And we had a devastating deal fall through the first time around that they owed it to me to make it right the second time, so no, I didn't get them anything LOL

I've never heard of giving gifts to these people. Our realtor gave US a gift- Some cute wall art for our new home.

and like the others have said, you don't need to get them anything.
when i worked for an attorney in NJ and did all the realestate work, the agent almost always bought the client a little something.
there was one who would always leave a very nice note and a bottle of champagne in the kitchen for when the new owners moved in.

Not a darn thing. They get $$$$ at the closing. You don't need to tip them or send them a gift. In fact, all of my realtors have sent me gifts after closings. The best gift you can give them is a referral to a friend to use them.

Congrats!!! Not a thing! They all made like $500 for showing up with a few pieces of paper- everyone had their insane fees. Closing was 45 minutes. I've never seen someone make money that fast! Lol congrats!!!!!

Congrats! We liked our realtor but we didn't get her a gift (in fact she gave us a GC to Bed Bath and Beyond at closing). We still send her a xmas card every year.

I loved our realtor, but we didn't give a gift either. She actually gave us a gift- an Amazon gift card!
