Date night
Where should we go for dinner Saturday night sans kids?
I feel like we go to the same places and want something new.
Maybe something where we could walk around after or go for a drink somewhere else.
Where would you go if you had a night out?

In patchogue there's perabell or public house 49 (I think). Last time we went to Gallo which is Colombian and then went across the street to kilwins for ice cream.
Oh tap room is pretty good too.

I like perabell although I'm always surprised that is kind of loud for a date night. South ocean grill is nice too. Kilwins or sub zero for ice cream.

I've been to Dario's (italian food) and Cabo (mexican- but went for a girls night). Also if you like tapas there is Viaggio tapas

Yes they're related. We used to like it until we tried verde.

In Freeport I would recommend dinner at Rachel's outside on the deck. Then go next door to Ottos and listen to music

Re: Date night
I really wanted to try the new Lake House in Bay Shore for date night. It's a prime spot right on the bay. I couldn't get a reservation though. We ended up in Patchogue at Lombardi's on the Bay, which was really nice. We ate outside. You can then drive to the village and walk around.

I love love love their octopus tacos. I had some in Mexico and it's the only thing that compares. Plus, I was literally moaning out of enjoyment last time I ate there. LOL. Everything was making me say "omgggggggg this is soooooo gooood" Prob ruined the date going on at the next table!

I pretty much do everything on Main Street in Bay Shore. LOL. They just opened a really cute new restaurant - Salt & Barrel. Verde is one of my faves (already recommended).

The new Lake House is AMAZING, we've been about 6 times since the new location opened, I highly recommend it. We went to the former location often, but it pales in comparison to its new spot. If you can't get a reservation next time, definitely go for drinks outside on the patio, so romantic and beautiful.
