traveling to Sesame place
so we are going to Sesame place this weekend
a few questions since I have never been there
1) i read they provide life jackets, can my 2 year old wear it the entire time in the water area? or do we need to take off after each ride? or should i just bring my own jacket 2) are there a lot of things a 2 year old can do?
any ideas and suggestions would help! we are going w another family

traveling to Sesame place
We went last year when my DS was 2 and he wasn't all that into anything except the Count's Splash Castle - he didn't want to go on any rides. We just had him in a rash guard.

Re: traveling to Sesame place
When my daughter was two she loved the lazy river. I don't remember that we had her in a life jacket, to be honest. Maybe in the lazy river but I feel like she didn't care for anything else. We did watch quite a few shows-I think that was it for us, the lazy river and the shows.

The life jackets are at the entrance of each ride and you return them at the end. It is not necessary to wear it throughout the park. I just kept her in a rash guard. She's two and she wasn't crazy about the dry rides but loved the counts splash park, ernies sprinkler park, and the lazy river. Also the shows.

Unless they're actually on a ride, it's really not necessary. They're only optional in the counts splash park and maybe the wave pool. And at 2, unless he's tall, most rides will have to be ridden with an adult and probably can't go on half of the water slides because they're for solo riders. My 2 year old went on the lazy river in the tube with the life jacket on (wasn't allowed to go on without it) and I walked with her while holding the tube.

Re: traveling to Sesame place
We have been many times, most recently last month when my younger DS was 21m. He went on a lot of rides (flying fish, peek a bug, carousel, kiddie tube ride, lazy river, teacups, etc) and a lot of time in the ernie graduated pool. only wore a life jacket for the lazy river and tube rides and they had plenty. between those rides and the shows and the parade there was plenty to do! its a great age and i highly recommend a character meal, he was in heaven.

At 2 and 3 my oldest loved almost all the dry rides. We went on most with her and she loved them. She did a few water rides including the lazy river and always just wore the life vest for individual rides. She also loves the big splash pool and I don't think she even wore one in there bc it's shallow and we were always right with her.

Re: traveling to Sesame place
There is plenty for a 2 year old to do and enjoy.
You likely won't go on the water rides except maybe the lazy river. They have jackets or you can bring on your own. Most other slides are too big for 2 year old.
There are several pool and splash areas. I didn't have a vest on my 1 or 3 year old. It was only waist high for the 1 year old. Up to you if you want to bring for this.
There are several shows and I highly recommend character lunch. The parade at 3 is a must see.
It was so hot when we were there we left after parade. And there's a lot more we didn't do so we plan to go back.
You won't be able to see everything, it takes time plus waiting toddler changing, napping, etc.
I recommend the carousel and climbing activities.
Have fun!
