I don't get the issue with Pinterest. If you're not crafty, don't like to cook, not a fan of throwing themed parties or all of the other 10,000 things that are on Pinterest................who cares?!?!?! Nobody HAS to LOVE Pinterest. I don't understand why it makes people feel like they are failing OR alternatively, why it makes people think others are perfect. Everyone has their own interests and hobbies, who really cares what is on Pinterest if it's not applicable to you and your lifestyle.
I happen to love Pinterest BUT I also live for holiday crafts, home decorating, and cooking specifically so I love having a place to get ideas and inspiration. But that's just me. I'm not perfect, I'm not trying to impress anyone with anything............I just love what I love and I do it for me. Nobody else.
So don't let yourself feel down because of what you see on there, NOT everyone is doing all of the things you see pinned..................even those of us with 40 million pins!!    Take what you need from it, if anything, and don't sweat what others are doing or what others think because all that matters is that you're doing what works for you!

Lol thanks guys - I'm not really down on myself. I went looking for normal kid bedroom ideas and I'm just annoyed with myself cuz ever since we moved in I haven't decorated - hang stuff, etc. we moved in three years ago lol.
Then I click and see these ridiculous treehouse bedrooms with slides n shit, rock wall ladders and built in desks with aromatherapy stations
And I'm like " damn i can't even hang my kids Icons up"
I'm literally afraid to make a hole in the walls and my kids have nothing fun to look at because of it
Don't tell me about the command hooks. I feel like they shouldn't be trusted LOL
Anyway thanks guys
And yeah, who are these people with their super glue guns and Time and Creativity?? I'm very happy rolling around in the backyard with my kids and their monster trucks. I just wish I could find something to hang on their walls lol

Don't feel bad....................for all of the crafty crap I do I still have yet to hang the shelf in my DS's room that I bought when we redid the nursery before he was born..................he is now THREE AND A HALF YEARS OLD!!! 
And I until I win the Lotto and have my 8 million mansion,  , my kids won't have a treehouse bedroom either!!!

LOL is that for real?
I mostly use it for recipes, renovation ideas and music/pop culture stuff. I love that if I'm out somewhere and hear a good song, I can use my Shazam app, find out who it is and then have an option to pin from there. So easy!
You totally reminded me that I need to get on there and look up some Stranger Things stuff now that I finished the episodes
Don't get bummed. Hanging pictures is a friggin CHORE, we barely have anything on our walls because it's just too damn annoying to do.

The more you pin stuff that you like and is realistic to you, the more relevant stuff you'll find. Pinterest is scary/wonderful in that it learns about you and what you like. But bah, those treehouse rooms or rooms with like a cinderella carriage bed complete with actual carousel horses pulling the carriage have got to be fake or just staged for ideas. Or really, really rich celebs. It's totally only for us to drool over and feel like crap about.
And I knoooooow you said no command hooks, I was super skeptical myself, but I bought a bunch when we finally had people over since we moved into our house in February and it looked like no one lived there. I went around one night hanging all these pictures and decorations and stuff and fully expected them to be on the floor the next morning. They're still up! And it makes it feel so much more homey. I even hung ONE whole thing in DD's room.

I'm not on Pinterest at all, but about the Command Hooks.... For most things, they are often more secure than nails or anchors in drywall.... and I've used plenty each type. I even use them to hang a heavy metal sculpture that's over the stove.... right about DW's head most of the time.... and it's been there for a couple of years.

See I only use it to pin recipes mainly. (and cocktail recipes!)
Sometimes I'll pin a decorating idea- like a paint color or a certain tile for a future bathroom project, etc.
I also pin stuff for DD's school projects.
I don't go on there to browse around- I just go to my boards to access my recipes and stuff.
So for me, it's mainly a personal storage site.

Lol I'm such a chicken- maybe I'm afraid I'll attach them wrong. I do have several of them. I bought the ones that are able to hold 10 pounds for much lighter things... Just such a chicken lol
When and if youre ready to, are they hard to remove?
