Re: Gender Reveal - Do we need to bring a present?
I've never been to one but I'd probably bring just a card and a little something cute.............maybe a baby blanket, outfit, a gift card. Something small, it's only a gender reveal not the shower. KWIM?

Gender Reveal - Do we need to bring a present?
When we had our gender reveal we made a point to say , no presents on the invite. If it's not stated then I would probably do something small as stated in previous replies . You could also, instead of doing a gift for baby, get a gift cert for the mommy at a nail salon or something similar.

I would do a little board book. I don't think anything is really necessary but something little like a book that's gender neutral is always nice.

If it doesn't say "no presents" on the invite, I would bring something small and gender neutral. A baby blanket, baby book or a board book is a good idea.

No. We had ours a few months ago and no one brought anything. My SIL just had hers last week and again, no one brought gifts. I dont think its necessary at all.

We had a gender reveal but we did not expect anyone to bring anything. Most guests just showed up, that's all we wanted.

Gender Reveal - Do we need to bring a present?
We had one and while some people bought gifts we most definitely did not expect them too and I felt bad. We just wanted our family and friends there when we found out

Gender Reveal - Do we need to bring a present?
We had one with our parents and siblings for each kid. We got a few small things each time-$10 or less with the exception of my mil, but she spoils all of us.
Why would someone decline going to a gender reveal if they didn't have other plans?

Because some people, not saying me, find them ridiculous. And while you can have a party for whatever you want and nobody should be able to tell you different, people who don't see the point don't need to perpetuate the need for this "new" party.

Ditto. There are only three people in my life who I would drag myself to a gender reveal party for, but none of them had one. Woohoo!

Because to someone who doesn't have kids, doesn't want kids, or isn't extremely close with the person having a kid it's probably not such a good time. Hell, I have a kid and unless it was my bff (who didn't have one) I'd probably skip it.
ETA: OP, I'd bring something small like a book or something for the mom.
