Fave baby items for new mom?
I'm putting together a little basket of my favorite little things that made a big difference for me as a new mom for a friend and am looking for ideas. First on my list is Mommy Hooks! Any ideas to share? TIA!

For a friend, I got the euro primo bath tub and filled it with items I loved. I included my favorite comb, a nuk first toothbrush, triple paste, a and d, my favorite first books (Sandra boynton and this cloth lift the flap book that says I love you with baby and animal faces, and first 100 words). A huge sponge thing for inside of the tub, and special size wash cloths, and my favorite cup thing for washing the hair, and some baby wash and shampoo. I then made a little video using a doll to show how to give the baby a bath.

Triple paste, baby Tylenol, gas drops, nose frida and saline spray. Things that when you need them, you need them now and will be so glad to have on hand. Though hopefully she won't need any of them anytime soon. The nuby silicone teether is another favorite, muslin blankets, halo sleep sacks.

The cup thingy to wash the baby's hair. The one with the cutout that goes against the forehead so the water doesn't go on the baby's face.

My sister in law had my niece in June and for her baby shower I made her a baby tackle box. I got the idea from Pinterest. It was the hit of the shower! With that I made her a file folder for all of the important papers and docs she would get after birth and I also did a clothes line of all baby cloths, bibs and headbands.

Agreed. I'd also add gripe water to this list! That and the booger sucker are the only things we've used so far but they have been life savers!

Those little rolls of scented trash bags. Super useful for disposing of diapers on the go. Clip on toys for stroller. GC for coffee runs.

love pacifier clip - booginhead I think is the good brand with metal not plastic clip part.
love gumdrop pacifier - like the hospital soothiy but can actually see baby nose.
