Park/playground in Nassau
Any recommendations for a park, preferably with a playground for kids, in the Roslyn area that doesn't have parking fees and doesn't require a resident/county pass? I am meeting a friend new to the Roslyn area and I am coming from Suffolk so places like Eisenhower won't work.

There is a playground in Roslyn by the pond. I have to ask DH the name of the road...

Gerry Pond Park and Christopher Morely.
I think you can find street parking for Gerry Pond Park, but I passed it yesterday and the streets were crowded.
Christopher Morely I think you have to pay if you're not a NC resident.

That's the pond I was thinking of. There is a little parking lot we parked in.
Not sure when they check ID at Christopher Morley, but the other County Parks we go to usually only check on weekends.

Christopher Morley doesn't check id during the week. Not sure about the weekends.
There are shaded picnic/checkers tables there near the playground and some of the playground structures are shaded, if that's a plus for you.
Gerry pond park is beautiful but all of the poop grosses me out.
