I would save up and buy a slightly better set. Mine were bought at Costco for around $100 and amazing. These I feel like you might be replacing sooner.

$30 for a whole set? Those are going to be very cheap, thin metal pans. They likely will not cook well. I'd pass on them and save for something that is better quality. I love to cook and I believe in investing in good tools, they will work better and last longer.

the disclaimer: "cook on low or medium heat only" was a red flag for me.
i would get something else.
Although i will say i bought a set at macy's 8 years ago that was not expensive and has held up well. I use it every day, multiple times a day and have yet to destroy it. I don't remember what brand but can check once i get home if you want.

I had the non stick set (same brand) and they held up well-the lasted about 8 years with the exception of the largest pot-I still have it. I have a cephalon tri ply stainless steel set now and it it amazing.

I have this set, going on 4 years of daily use. For $30 I'd definitely say yes.

Yeah, that got me too. Although they do have a lot of good reviews so how bad can they be? I'd read through the reviews before buying and see what the feedback is. They also seem to be pretty small pieces.

Re: should i buy??
No! My MIL bought us several of these pans. They have all been tossed in the garbage. I wish they would not buy these things just bc they are inexpensive. Waste of money. Wait until there is a sale doe calphalon , Williams Sonoma has great sales on these
