We love Cooperage Inn -- right on Sound Ave in Baiting Hollow. Never had a meal there that disappointed.

Has anyone ever been to Jerry the mermaid or Claudio's?

This is for a bachelorette dinner and the bride suggested these two places but her taste in food is kind of ehhh. I just wanna make sure these places don't suck. Lol

If you mean the Claudio's in Greenport, it sucks. Do not go there.

Claudio's is way farther out than Riverhead - they have two restaurants, one is more sit-down restaurant the other is a bar/lounge with plastic chairs and tables.

Jerry and the Mermaid is a little hole in the wall - basic bar and pub food.

Try Farm Country Kitchen, Dark Horse Tavern or even Joe's Garage. The other two places you mentioned are heavy on the seafood also. Bistro 72 is also a good choice, right in the Hotel Indigo.

Yeah it's old and musty and gross

I did like Bistro 72- it's in the Hotel Indigo.
They have outdoor seating by the pool in the summer.
It's pretty casual though...not sure what you are looking for.

Farm Country Kitchen is excellent- casual as well. Sit out on a covered porch and overlook the river.
It's kind of rustic
It's BYOB though, keep that in mind

I think casual is what she wants since she suggested the two places I mentioned above. We are doing a few wineries and just want to eat afterwards.

Either will be great then!
If you do the Farm Country Kitchen, just pick up a bottle of wine from the wineries and bring it with you since it's BYOB
