Random bill question?
Can you pay car payments, PSEG and other types of bills with Amex? Boss is looking to earn extra points.
PSEG I am pretty sure only links to bank accounts.

It depends on the vendor. I used to pay my rent with my AMEX - I loved that!!!
I know you can pay your cell service, newspaper, and cable with AMEX. Not sure about car payments though.

Random bill question?
some places charge a fee to pay via credit card as opposed to withdrawing from your bank account. i pay my cable and verizon with my cc. geico charged an extra $5 per month to use cc so i stopped that. never attempted with pseg

I do the cell phone and car insurance with Amex. Everything else by check I know car payments and mortgage you can't

Pseg you can pay by card but there is a fee of I think $2.25 and I am not sure if AMEX is a choice
I would say almost any bill can be pay with credit card whether free or with a few except loans and other credit card bills. ETA: so no you could not pay your car payment with a credit card.
