iPhone, Verizon and Cellular Data
I am going through INSANE amounts of cellular data all of the sudden! We've been on vacation a few times the past month so I'm not using WiFi but what gives? I don't Pokemon, lol and mainly use FB and IG.
Can someone help me out here!?

Is wifi assist on? If it is, turn it off. Go into cellular and make sure your apps aren't using cellular data unless it's a must.

check your data utilization in your account on the verizon website. my husband was listening to music via youtube and didn't realize how much data that took up.

Definitely turn off auto-play. We switched to Tmobile and we've never even made a dent in our data and it rolls over.

I have that off. Hasn't changed.
Seems this is happening to many people. I wonder what Verizon is doing
I've never come close to using up my data and in this month i'm over. WTF!

Make sure auto play is OFF on Facebook. Go to settings--video-- and you can adjust.
During the summer people tend to have a lot more video posted. Especially with the election. My guess is you are having a LOT more video play than you thought.

I was with Verizon for almost 10 years and noticed that I was going through my data all of the sudden. I turned off the auto play and that did nothing to help. I ended up switching to Sprint and my bill is almost a $100 less than it was at Verizon (pretty similar plan).

same here!! i keep getting the annoying texts that we have used up our data and we keep upping it. it's insane!! we are definitely switching once our plan is up in November.
