Scammed by a product: Beware!
I always hear this belly-flattening supplement ad on the radio for this thing called SomaBiotix
I should have stopped there.
Nope, on July 2 I called for their "free trial" and got a "free trial" for the cleanse, too. Just pay for shipping for both products: $4.95
I got the products July 11 and carefully put the date on the calendar that it's a 14-day trial so I should call and cancel by Saturday July 24th. I had no intention of continuing this and wanted to just try it. Of course I got charged on July 23rd. I called and told them that they made a mistake and I was within the trial period that they needed to refund the $69.95
I got a guy with a foreign accent and a bad connection who sounded like he was in a bedroom with a cell phone (I did yell this at him btw) I was told that the 14 day trial starts from the day you order them (no paperwork came with the products, nor is it in the email confirmation, nor is it on the website) I told the rep all of this, to no avail. I then said that I wasn't asking for a refund, that I was demanding a refund or I'd expose them for fraud. I yelled, "How the hell am I supposed to know I like something if I haven't gotten it yet?" You know what he told me? That if I had called to say I hadn't gotten the product after 5 days they would have extended it for me. Last time I checked, UT to NY standard shipping takes like 7 business days so I wasn't worried that I hadn't gotten it.
I start to get and say you know what, connect me to a supervisor. Of course, there's no supervisor. Some lame excuse about him being on a training conference etc. He starts to negotiate and offers me a 10% refund. I get angrier. 30% refund? Now I'm cursing. 50% refund? I am screaming at this point. You don't know who you're dealing with.
I hang up and call my CC company. Thankfully, the charge is still pending and I block Somabiotix and there's no charge.
Lesson learned. How do I report them to the BBB?

Re: Scammed by a product: Beware!
Sorry that happened to you, and thank goodness you are getting your money back.
If you are looking to flatten your belly, might I suggest the fascia blaster. It used to come up as a sponsored ad on my Facebook feed. After a few weeks I decided to join the fascia blasting Facebook group and after seeing all the amazing results on these women, I bit the bullet and bought it. IT IS A GAMECHANGER!! Saddlebags that I was never able to get rid of through diet or exercise have reduced significantly!! I highly recommend it! I'm not a sales person for this product, I just truly believe in it.
Here's the website:
Fascia blaster
Here's the Facebook group with almost 50k members of real women who use this product:

Here are some photos I saved from the group:
Ugh pics not posting, will try later.
