Interview help
I haven't interviewed in over 4 years and have one lined up in the next two days.
I really want to get this job. I feel clueless and so nervous!
What do I wear? I have a sleeveless color-block gray/black knee length dress. Can i wear that with a black 3/4 sleeve sweater? Do i need to wear pantyhose or are bare legs ok?
i'm currently employed, but want out of there asap. how do i handle that part of the interview?
any hints on interviewing well?
please send some positive vibes my way this week! they're already being very accommodating and letting me schedule the interview on a Saturday.

Interview help
I would say the dress is ok. I would definitely wear panty hose. When asked about why you want to leave I would say career advancement, but my response would depend on if it was the same job, same task, or a job with more responsibilities than you currently have.
Good luck!!!!

Re: Interview help
Good luck! I would make sure to have a good list of targeted questions to ask for that part of the interview.

Pretty much ITA. As for stockings, depends on how conservative the industry is, I never wear them, but for an interview it's probably best to be more cautious. I just interviewed a bunch of people for a position at my company, and I can't tell you how many didn't research the company or position! We wouldn't even consider anybody who didn't do their research. So if they have a website, read it ! Also, have at least a few questions about the company/position to ask your interviewers! Good Luck!
