I have a friend on vacation in France and I have no idea what part he may be in right now. He was in Versailles a few days ago and he was supposed to move on to England at some point, but he hasn't texted me back and I can't help but panic.
It has been a horrible year for the French people. The pictures are horrific.
Edit: Heard from him. Nowhere near Nice.

They're reporting possibly 100 dead and shooting in the street. Targeting hotels and cafes and some reports of hostages being taken in the hotels. My god what is our world coming to?

This was false information. No hostage situation. The truck driver drove into people as he was shooting people out of the truck window.
At least 75 dead now. Most likely the number will rise.

The attack was not claimed yet by anyone. So this is premature to make such comment as well as disrespectful. Many muslins were part of the victims. This is Nice. Many muslins live in the South of France.

I am SOBBING now, SOBBING. There was just a picture someone shared on FB in my feed. it was a tiny little body covered with a baby doll laying next to it. I cant, I cant...........I honestly was out of tears to shed every.single.week. this happens, but it broke my hear into a million pieces over.
