If you have a cleaning lady...
How long did it take for you to feel comfortable enough to leave them home by themselves?

If you have a cleaning lady...
Depends who it was. I had a guy come in a group of 3. My parents used him when I was growing up and I still never ever left the house when they were here. I fired them and got a new cleaning lady. She comes alone and I left her within weeks. I also had no choice bc dd1 had dance class during the time she was here.
Only once did I let her let herself out through the garage and it was bc o had to leave.
I've also never let them let themselves in.

Right away. I got her from a friend who's been using her for years.

If you're still using the same ones, I leave them all the time..and have left it where they can let themselves in...

If you have a cleaning lady...
We left ours alone from the beginning but, she had been cleaning a few friends homes so I felt more comfortable than with someone I didn't have a connection with.

Re: If you have a cleaning lady...
Thanks everyone, basically, we just moved to a new town and trying out a new cleaning person who lives locally. She cleaned for the previous owner for a VERY long time and came highly recommended. I just arranged to have her come for her first time at a time I'll be home the entire time she's here, but when she comes at her regular scheduled time, I won't be here for a large chunk of time. I tend to not trust people at all, OR at the other extreme I'll give people the benefit of the doubt, so just wondering if this is too trusting.

If you have a cleaning lady...
My cleaning lady has been working with some of my sisters for a long time so when she started with me, I trusted her right away. I've left her alone many times and I have never had any issues, she's actually found money (like when doing laundry) and made me aware of it!
U said the lady that's helping not only used to work with the previous owners for a long time, but she was also highly recommended. For those reasons, I wouldn't take long to trust her, def not right away since u don't personally know her but after a couple of weeks, I def would.

Re: If you have a cleaning lady...
It was a while but only because my mom was always here to babysit my daughter, before she started school. I've had the same women (4 of them usually come at a time) for 2 years now and I leave a key for them to let themselves in and lock up when they leave now that nobody is home while they clean.
