Job seeking quesion
I'm going to start looking for another job as I'm worried my job is going to be outsourced or eliminated. On job interviews is this an acceptable answer of why I am looking for a job or should I come up with another answer as Im thinking the outsourcing may look like I'm giving away internal information which I should not be sharing.

You may not have to give too many details, but it is a question in the interviewers mind, why are they leaving their current place? Why does coming here make real sense?
I don't know whether the company outsourcing department X is really confidential information. If it already happened and you were outsourced, I'd assume you could talk about that.
The possibility of outsourcing is always there... It also probably depends on your level. If you're a director that is brought in on confidential plan, then its one thing. If you're not....... I would feel OK talking about there are rumors they're outsourcing my department and that coupled with that I don't see advancement coming soon due to the structure of the department.

I usually say "career growth" but it's perfectly acceptable to be honest, too. If your company has outsourced 40%, it's probably not a surprise. I know I see a lot of resumes from the same company when this happens. It's always good to be honest.
